Trivia - 4381 to 4390: "4393 / Vostok, Antarctica holds the record for the coldest temperature on Earth: a temperature of -129 °F / -89.4 °C was recorded on July 21, 1983. An unconfirmed report in the winter of 1997 reported an even colder temperature of -132 °F / -91 °C. This exceptionally cold weather is caused by the very high speed of the Arctic winds.
4394 / Antarctica contains 70% of the world's freshwater and 90% of the world's ice. Less than 1% of the continent is free of ice and snow."
