This is a second notice of the exercise. We had some email address problems and I hope it has been fixed. See you all on Saturday. Please come to the Armory building next door to the old city hall. They have graciously allowed us to stage their as the old city hall has no heat.

We have scheduled the final exercise to be Saturday, January 21st from 9:00 am until about noon. We will have the event at the old city hall, 810 SW Alder St. We will be having a short review of the curriculum that we have learned to date as we will be needing the information during the exercise. Please do not worry about pass/fail. This is a learning exercise so its more important to learn than to test.

There will be four components to the exercise:

1. CERT organization and setting up teams and leaders.

2. Triage and first aid.

3. Fire extinguishing.

4. Cribbing and search and rescue.

Just a heads up on the old city hall, it has not been occupied for several years so dress in comfortable clothing that is not formal wear. And no Larry, Nancy will not let us burn it down.

Please bring your CERT kits and I would suggest water bottles as the water fountain works at the city hall but I would not trust it. If you have any questions, either call me or email me.

I also would like everyone to attend the City Council meeting on Monday night, February 6th at 7:30 pm so that they can recognize all your hard work.
