The saboteurs took oaths of secrecy and called themselves 'The Family.' They built a variety of firebombs, including a unique one called the Cat's Cradle. They scouted their targets, took dry runs. Then they dressed in black, donned masks and carried two-way radios, and struck time after time in five states, according to a federal indictment made public Friday in Portland."
