An elderly couple was having dinner one evening when the husband reached across the table, took his wife's hand in his and said, "Martha, soon we will be married 50 years, and there's something I have to know. In all of these 50 years have you ever been unfaithful to me?"
Martha replied, "Well Henry, I have to be honest with you. Yes, I've been unfaithful to you three times during these 50 years, but always for a good reason."
Henry was stunned by his wife's confession, but said, "I never suspected. Can you tell me what you mean by 'good reasons?'"
"Let's see," Martha said. "The first time was shortly after we were married, and we were about to lose our little house because we couldn't pay the mortgage. Do you remember that one evening I went to see the banker and the next day he notified you that the loan would be extended?"
Henry recalled the visit to the banker and said, "I can forgive you for that. You saved our home, but what about the second time?"
Martha asked, "And do you remember when you were so sick, but we didn't have the money to pay for the heart surgery you needed? Well, I went to see your doctor one night and, if you recall, he did the surgery at no charge."
"I recall that," said Henry "And you did it to save my life, so I of
course I can forgive you for that. Now tell me about the third time."

BBC NEWS | Science/Nature | Fire in the sky: Tunguska at 100
BBC NEWS | Science/Nature | Fire in the sky: Tunguska at 100: "The plume of hot dust trailing the fireball gave rise to descriptions of a 'pillar of fire', which was quickly replaced by a giant cloud of black smoke rising over the horizon.
'The sky split in two and fire appeared high and wide over the forest. The split in the sky grew larger, and the entire northern side was covered with fire,' one local remembered.
'At that moment I became so hot that I couldn't bear it, as if my shirt was on fire… I wanted to tear off my shirt and throw it down, but then the sky slammed shut. A strong thump sounded, and I was thrown a few yards.'"

Want To Know?
There is always someone who knows a bit more... or understands computers but we are looking for a few folks that would have fun doing this for people.. I will teach... you learn and commit to helping folks in our community when and if you can. Everyone moves forward... Time marches on and this teacher's corp learns how to help the blind, the hard of hearing , helps people set up their own customized newspaper, teaches how to use picture albums and make slide shows...as Martha would say, "It's a good thing".
There is already one on one classes for computers every Tuesday at the clubhouse computer lab. People come with very specific things they want to learn and we help them. They start at 9am and run to 1pm. They are currently closed but as those long winter nights close in on us... We will take more students.
Since this is a time away in the future we are just posting a survey to see the interest level in the park...You will see the survey in the right column.. Find this appealing? Mark it up...

NASA - NanoSail-D
NASA - NanoSail-D: "'Hold your hands out to the sun. What do you feel? Heat, of course. But there's pressure as well – though you've never noticed it, because it's so tiny. Over the area of your hands, it only comes to about a millionth of an ounce. But out in space, even a pressure as small as that can be important – for it's acting all the time, hour after hour, day after day. Unlike rocket fuel, it's free and unlimited. If we want to, we can use it; we can build sails to catch the radiation blowing from the sun.'1"
