While using Google Chrome web browser today reading world news I found something so wonderful I thought I would share it with you.

Bosch is a company that makes a lot of extremely complicated and technical products for industry. Products that I used to use and service in my working life.

Here was an article on Bosch in my news reader that I thought I would like to look at to see the progress of technology. NUTZ! when I clicked on it it was all in the GERMAN language.... At the top of the page came a toolbar that asked, "This article is in German... Would you like it translated to ENGLISH. I say yes. The page flickers "Shazaam!" and now the article is in English! The helpful toolbar now asks if I would always like all articles in German to be translated to English? I reply yes and click another German article and it comes up in English... Thought you would like to know.

Dominica's 'Whale Whisperer' shares a remarkable story

Dominica's 'Whale Whisperer' shares a remarkable story: "Andrew Armour, who runs Kubuli Watersports on the Caribbean island of Dominica, has been called the 'Whale Whisperer' because of his ability to communicate with sperm whales, particularly a young male named 'Scar.'

'Once I'm in the water I try to reach them acoustically by making this noise in the water, and it's the same noise all the time so they know it's me,' he says. 'So I'm talking to them all the time in the water, and they start coming.'

To be sure, had Herman Melville been to Dominica and swum with its whales, he might have had trouble finding the inspiration to write the classic novel, 'Moby Dick.'"

Weekday Vegetarian: Make Fantastic Chinese Dan Dan Noodles with Tofu : TreeHugger: "My family are all big fans of Chinese cuisine, and I cook it often. One of my favourite cookbook authors is Fuchsia Dunlop, who wrote Land of Plenty and Revolutionary Chinese Cookbook. Her memoir Shark's Fin and Sichuan Pepper: A Sweet-Sour Memoir of Eating in China is a fascinating portrait of a young woman who learns to cook and eat anything and everything in China and then slowly discovers how environmental degradation affects the food supply."

What to Eat: Japanese Small Plates - The Daily Beast

What to Eat: Japanese Small Plates - The Daily Beast: "An array of flavors bold and bright can be found in this creation from one of Food & Wine magazine’s “Best of the Best.”
Of all the interesting citrus fruits—Buddha’s hand, pomelos, ugli fruit—gastronomes have most widely embraced the Japanese yuzu. The flavor is tart, tasting like a cross between a grapefruit and a Mandarin orange, and the fruit is highly aromatic. Here, it is mixed with the rich flavors of miso and served as a sumptuous sauce for shallow-fried eggplant, cutting through the grease to reveal the eggplant’s creaminess."
