Scrap-metal firm looking at Oregon sites

Ron says.. having worked in all my life in polluting industries (First steel and then oil) I can tell you that they cannot clean up their messes. They pay fines to the government who then ignores the clean-up issues. They declare bankruptcy if the going gets rough for them.. but the mess stays. This company is owned by people based in India. They have a problem here where do you think they are going to go?
Oregon is a rare and beautiful jewell I would hate to see her beauty potentially marred by this deal.... My take on this is strongly, "No-Way".
