Gmail - FDA Joins Industry in Fight Against Mercury Warnings

Gmail - FDA Joins Industry in Fight Against Mercury Warnings: "When it comes to warning consumers about mercury contamination in fish, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is acting fishy. More than 1 in 6 babies born are exposed to dangerously high levels of mercury in the womb. Yet when states like California take it upon themselves to warn the public, the FDA joins with the fishing industry to force them to stop.
Tell the FDA to put the interest of mothers and babies ahead of the fishing industry.
Mercury is a toxic contaminant that is showing up in dangerously high concentrations in the fish we eat, and is know to cause nervous system and brain damage in developing fetuses, infants, and young children. "
