GLENDALE, Ariz. - Portland LumberJax owner Angela Batinovich almost didn't see the end of her team's inaugural game in the National Lacrosse League.

Sitting in a sectioned-off room in the press box, Batinovich loudly vocalized her support for the LumberJax, to the dismay of Glendale Arena officials. After threats of ejection, Batinovich calmed down and watched Portland let a close game slip away for a 12-7 loss against the Arizona Sting on Friday night.

Before their first game, the LumberJax got a taste of what the future might hold, as the Sting raised their NLL West Division championship banner from last season to a standing ovation from the 6,125 in attendance.
