SEATTLE -- This game was far from pretty for the Seattle Seahawks, but they'll take the win all the way to the NFC championship game.
After losing running back Shaun Alexander to a concussion with 4:54 left in the first quarter, the Seahawks held together to defeat Washington 20-10 in a divisional playoff game Saturday afternoon.
The Seahawks overcame all kinds of problems to advance to their first championship game and will face either Chicago or Carolina next Sunday at Qwest Field. The Seahawks had five fumbles and lost three. Without Alexander, the offense struggled to move the ball for much of the first half. "
