Chances are you don't hunt or fish. Fewer than one in 10 Oregonians hunt. Less than one in five of us fish. Those who do are vanishing faster here than almost anywhere else.

Used to be, the fall hunt for a prize buck and the cool morning casting for a gleaming chinook were as much Oregon traditions as coffee and microbrews. But the face of Oregon is changing. More of us dwell in cities, farther from fish, wildlife and the outdoors."
