Augustine Volcano in Alaska has erupted five times over the past two days, scientists said on Saturday.
The volcano is on the uninhabited Augustine Island, about 300 kilometres southwest of Anchorage.

The eruptions were big enough to force the cancellation of flights into Anchorage and Fairbanks on Friday. Officials also closed schools on the southern Kenai Peninsula."
