Who was that team out there Friday in black and red?
Believe it or not, that was the Trail Blazers making 10 of 15 three-pointers. Converting 19 of 22 free throws. Turning the ball over just seven times. And ultimately, pulling away from a tight game in the final minute to secure a 113-108 victory over the shorthanded Orlando Magic in front of 12,301 at the Rose Garden.
Behind another near-flawless and steely shooting display from Juan Dixon and the surprise long-range shooting of Steve Blake and Sebastian Telfair, not to mention some huge blocks from Theo Ratliff, the Blazers won their second in a row and defied their season-long weaknesses.
