PEORIA, Ariz. -- Just when the Seattle Mariners' starting pitchers were coming around, they were thrown a curve Friday.
Center fielder Jeremy Reed, whose acrobatic catches were one of the team's few highlights last season, will miss an estimated six weeks with a broken bone in his right wrist.
