The Computer Club...

The computer Club met today, Wednesday at 1:00pm. Membership increased 100% from 5 to 10new members today. Following their loosely knit format. Diane Doyle introduced her favorite filing program and showed listners how to use a filing system that greatly simplifies computer organization.

The group met in the new computer lab which was very cozy (crowded) If membership increases beyond this we will be meeting in the main clubhouse.

The club agreed that meetings will be every Wednesday at 1:00pm. Other discussions arose about how to do particular things on the computer and subjects for future meetings were bandied about.

Next weeks speaker will be Ron Thomas who will speak on the subject of blogging. Rumor has it that several folks will be building their very first Blogs as a demonstration how easy it is... All levels are welcome. We have all the way from exhalted Guruieness to beginner.

Contacts will develope over time that will always provide a means of help and support for users. For instance 2 members are about to buy new computers and their shopping experience will add to our knowledge base... See you next week. Come play with us and if you have a laptop computer bring it to the next meeting.
