March 30, 2006

Jim Dodds is moving out of the park with his father to Montana. He is responsible for all the hi-tech work that went into the computer lab and for getting my feet wet in learning things that have to do with a domain.

Beleive me we were more than lucky to have his help. One nice thing is we can still communicate via the net with him. RT

To my friends, clients, and the residents of Longview Hills,

I would like to say “Thank You” for the opportunity to have worked with you. What a wonder it has been to watch you advance your skills and knowledge of this new computer age. As I get ready to take off to the Big Sky country you will never be far away with these new skills you have developed. Thru the use of your computer we will remain in touch. You now have a new computer lab that is really state of the art. Take advantage of it and explore, it’s just the tip of the iceberg. The software that is installed on these machines will allow you do anything your imagination can envision and remember, they are “just” machines as an automobile is “just” a machine, you just drive with a mouse instead of a wheel. The world of Longview Hills is just in it’s infancy with the creation of longviewhills.com, but this is one “giant” step that has already been taken. With truly your “own” website, restrictions that other companies place on you has been lifted and the world is truly unlimited on what can now be done. Online games, your own chat room, notices, share movies and pictures, instant messaging, raise funds….and thru the use of subdomains, you could have your own world going, yourname.longviewhills.com. The software is installed on every machine in your computer lab as tools to use to release your imagination. Create a cookbook or online manual. Or show off to the grandkids with www.yourname.com. Best of all – it really is simple!

Need service work done? I recommend Pacific MicroTech ask for Bill.

Thank you, once again, to all,

Jim
