Computer Club meets Wednesday 1:00pm...
Definition: Blog..... short for web-log... a means for writing a journal or diary on the world wide web(www) that can be viewed anywhere in or out of the world.
Speaker will be Ron Thomas (me) . Subject will be BLOGGING. Everyone present will create their own blog... about a 5 minute project. The goal will be to show how easy it is to set started blogging without knowing anything about the subject.
The only problem may be the size of the club ... it is growing fast so we may have to meet in the main hall to accommodate the whole club. For that reason we request if you have a laptop computer please bring it.
After the presentation everyone will discuss the latest and greatest things about computers and programs as well as fixes for problems that members have. All are welcome.. Newbie to Guru. Come a bit early and we will get you started building your first blog.
Meeting disbands when people run out of things to talk about.. Come and go as you please. At present the club has no officers and revolves around a free form format... an interesting idea.
