Drive on down the entry way and enjoy the budding azelias. Promise of beauty to come. I only have a little storage space on this camera and so am waiting to get a large storage card. No pictures of that.
Once you get to the front of the hotel follow the road around back to the Flying Dutchman Winery cafe... Park close to the Duck pond.
Notice the sign! Fido isn't welcome here, sorry.
Just head on up the street here. We are going to turn into the forest up there where that sign is.
This is the spot let's go have a look..

Around the corner is a path leading off into the woods. I can't resist. This is hard for seniors.. lots of nasty roots waiting to trip you up. Better not go here. At the end of the trail it comes to a 4ft. chain link gate to somone private backyard.
Eyes skyward to enjoy the canopy shading us.
Looks like a good place for a nap..umm..

Whoops passed by trail traffic. Must be going to slow.
Out of the shade into the light... Ran out of pictures on the camera too.. I guess you will have to come and try thr trail to see the rest.. RT
