Help

Help!

One of my passions is computers. Like maybe you did not know that.. Well for a long time I have been thinking about ways to make Seniors more involved with life than stuck away in their homes. This can be done by giving meaningful, interesting volunteer opportunities to our community. A chance to do something that improves the quality of life for everyone. Something that will be fun as well as interesting.

Say you have a disabling disease that keeps you homebound.. TV is all that you have to look forward to. We can teach you in your own home and at your own pace how to do many things on our website.

Frankly, I have 29 websites that I take care of for different folks and organizations now and it is a great source of entertainment and joy for me.

Recently, you have seen Charles Burke come on the scene as a writer for the community. He knew nothing about websites just 3 or 4 months ago. He now is a major contributor for the Senior Funnies, LVH Home site, Bulletin Board, and Fishing Club. He writes articles, snips them from newspapers around the world. Puts on pictures on all the sites. He does this even though he suffers severe back pain which lays him low regularly. His own comment is that working the websites lets him forget about the pain. There is a lesson there.

I am acquiring more websites for local government because money is tight they can use help in making websites.. That’s good.. They won’t have to levy taxes to get the job done.. You can help them by putting on the websites the things they want to go on them.. So simple and yet important.

We intend to acquire more work from volunteer organizations.. You will be able to help them.. You could help the community with our site now. Some things are in the talking stage and little more than a dream... Imagine a group of seniors surfing the net looking for criminals and tipping off the police... We can do this. What about chat rooms with sex offenders ..We could catch them... Underage drinking parties.. How many accidents can we stop. You see our plans are big but we can’t do it alone we need you.
