We’re Back home from Salem....
Salem was wet of course and the rivers were at or close to flood stage... (for newly arrived Californians that means the water was right up to the banks). Trees were down but the crews who I never see took care of them (sawed ‘em up). Whoever you are you are the best and thank you.
Nothing compared to the outright ferocity of these storms though as when you near Newport. Here on the Hill facing the brunt of them we can safely say that Windmill dr. is certainly a well deserved name. These homes are missing a big advertisement gimmick by not filming here and showing what these homes stand up to.
I have one red light problem to tend to when it lets up a bit and that is the one on Deer Lane that has been coming on by itself now ever since the new lady moved in there. Puzzling because we have changed out every part in her system and changed the frequencies that the device operates on and yet it still comes on. Afraid we have run into a problem that is very difficult here.
Meanwhile, the clubhouse has acquired 2 more revamped computers from Jim Dodd’s reconditioning clinic. That is probably all that can be salvaged. We plan to stand before the Social Club and ask them to pay for a monthly hi-speed internet connection at the next meeting. It should be about $44 a month and will allow all the computers in the clubhouse to be hooked to the internet as well as any laptops that have WiFi technology that are brought to the clubhouse by residents. If you have an opinion on that please come and vote. This will be the completion of the computer lab project and will allow us to teach all the any fascetts of the computer.
More later.. Have to catch up all the web pages.
