ANNUAL ADOPT A FAMILY
KICKS OFF AT LVH....
This year we are helping two families with children and possibly one more. The names and particulars of family #1 are known by Marlene Crites who is working with a Newport Social Worker. The next families will be known next Monday and are from our local National Guard.
The Lady’s Coffee volunteered to create the Christmas ornaments for the giving tree now mounted on an easel at the clubhouse. You will see that each ornament has a description of a child and a need or desire. You take the ornament from the tree and shop to fulfill it. When you get the item take it home and wrap it and then put the tag back on it so we can tell what’s inside. Place the gift in the box at the base of the tree and Santa’s Helper’s will do the rest.
This is a fine tradition on the hill and we would like to encourage you to participate. The little ones will have a nice Christmas again this year due to our community’s generosity we are sure.
