TV at the clubhouse...

ron thomas

Today I was able to get my Laptop Computer to share it's monitor with the TV in the clubhouse. What this means is that the computer club can see illustrations of what is happening on the laptop displayed on the television larger screen.

This could help computer classes too. While sitting with one of the computers in the computer room students could see what the instructor was doing and mimic it.

There is a drawback. The TV in the clubhouse is small and although it is an improvement it is still a bit small for really good viewing.

Does anyone have a larger screen TV just sitting in their garage that they would like to donate? Or been thinking about buying a new TV and would like to find a home for your old one?

Also, Jack Scherer reported that Charter Communications won't give us a price break on a high speed internet connection.
