"Oregon women seeking 'cutest cop' put on probation
HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) - An Oregon woman who called 911 in hopes of another look at 'the cutest cop I've seen in God knows how long' won't go to jail for misusing the emergency system, a judge decided.
Instead, Lorna Dudash was sentenced to serve two years of probation and 100 hours of community service and ordered to pay $693 in fines and fees.
'People who are, oh, say, older than seven know not to use 911, except when where is an emergency,' Washington County Judge Marco Hernandez told Dudash, of Aloha, Ore. "
