We arrived home last night at 9:30. Twelve hour drive again. Gas at its highest was $3.45 in the bay area. The cheapest $3.04 in Philomouth. We expect to drag around the house for a few days recovering from the trip. I know a lot of you have called to ask about a lot of things. Here are some of the answers I have.
- There are reports of strangers entering the park on Deer lane and taking off real quick when cars come around. This is taking place on the end of Deer lane by Shirley Parson’s home. We need to raise everyone’s interest in this especially any folks on neighborhood watch patrol. If you see anything suspicious do not confront the person (s) call the Newport Police and report them. Meanwhile, it has been suggested we move a Neighborhood Watch sign from the trail by Charles Burke’s home and put it down by the Deer Lane trail where this activity is happening. Dave Guhier (ass’t Mgr) will probably be more than happy to do that if someone asks him sweetly. Before that though Larry must be appraised of what is going on. In addition the Block Captain Coordinator, Barbara Parks should be told about this and all the Block Captains in the park need to be told about this problem. Also a suggestion that a sign be posted in the same area that this is private property. If you are a block captian give Barb a call. The person with the most knowledge about what is going on is Shirley Parsons.
- Regarding buying or ordering gate openers... Donna Davi is the person to contact. I have no say in the matter.
Most of the other calls we have just erased due to them being dated but we invite you all to call again now that we are home. We won’t be doing much for a few days though, as we got ourselves pretty darn tired down south.
