I recently came across an interesting Cost of Living Calculator provided by Bankrate.com. You can use this calculator to compare the cost of living between U.S. cities.
The calculator displays the income required to maintain your current standard of living, along with the percentage difference between the two cities. The calculation takes into account dozens of items in six broad categories %u2014 groceries, housing, utilities, transportation, health care and miscellaneous goods and services. "
