Notes on the Poll

Notes on the Poll

29 folks voted .. 12 voted to keep things the way they are. 6 said do away  with all the news that isn’t local. 3 didn’t like the birthday cards. Some few thought we could create another website for news.

This wasn’t the only poll going on.. We have a statistics site that Jim Dodd’s found and setup for us. It shows how many pageloads a day we get. You could say that it is a poll where the pageloads are the vote. In other words folks vote by whether they go to your site or not. During our restraining of  putting articles on.. which admitantly was only a couple of days.. maybe 4 at the most. Our readership fell from about 300 a day to 100 a day. Now that poll does say something don’t you think?

However, I do have a solution for you that is pretty neat. I will be at the computer lab to help with computer problems from 6 to 8pm Monday through Friday for awhile. I can help set you up with a news reader in which you can put 100’s of news sources about the subjects you like right on your own computer.. In other words there is a way for you to tailor all the news you like into one spot. Drop by.. Let’s talk.
