The Longview Hills Fishing Club helps Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife service salmon fish traps on a few streams in the area. We are working on a project to put a rail on a walking bridge at the Schooner Creek Trap (east of Lincoln City) and we had scheduled a work day on Friday, November 14th. Wayde needed a measurement from the bridge and wanted to check Schooner Creek due to the amount of rain we have had this past week, so he and I drove up there yesterday (Thursday).

What a surprise we had when we got there! The normally calm, blue, serene Schooner Creek was a brown, fast moving river. Naturally, we postponed the bridge work scheduled for Friday until, hopefully next week but I thought many of you would enjoy seeing Mother Nature's handiwork.

Beautiful Pixs Barb! I'm sure everyone enjoyed this trip up the creek (without a paddle)

Good job.
