In case you have not had the chance to meet Michele Longo Eder or to read her book, Salt In Our Blood: The Memoir of a Fisherman's Wife, you are missing a rare treat. This local author has written her memoir which is insightful, interesting, and heart wrenching. Everyone I have spoken with who have read this book say they can't put it down. If you want a chance to meet Michele, she will be at the Pacific Maritime & Heritage Center in Newport, this coming Sunday, Nov. 16th, and at the Driftwood Public Library in Lincoln City, next Tuesday evening, Nov. 18th.
