Go to Statesman Journal.com on Thursday to follow the progress of the first flight into Salem and the first flight from Salem to Salt Lake City.
Passenger service returns
Flights for Salt Lake City will leave Salem at 6:35 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.
Flights from Salt Lake City will arrive around 12:25 p.m. and 10 p.m.
The flights will be provided every day, year-round.
