The foilage is dense with new growth. Look at all the new baby pine cones...
Skies so intensely blue.. I love Oregon.
What's around the bend? Adventure in the neighborhood...
About a hundred yards from the gate an overgrown path beckons cooly...
Going deep in the forest. Trees and shrubs try to reclaim land once taken from them...
Into the light again we wind down the track..
Welcome sight.. The ocean below.. Here in the middle of nowhere on a ridge barely wide enough for this road an electrical transformer and a telephone junction box.
A glimpse of civilization.. The hill that slopes down to the lighthouse. The one that Izzy's is built on.
The undergrowth is so dense that there were only 2 places you could see any of LVH.
Though you may have to look hard at the center of this picture to see it... That's the communication tower atop the far hill.
