Neighborhood Watch Patrol Passes to....
Thanks to Charles Burke. The Neighborhood Watch Patrol has revitalized by a number of volunteers that will take turns wearing the Patrol signs on their cars.
This month’s volunteer is Ben Davi. He drives a black Cadillac SUV. So if you see him around thank him for looking out for your safety.
Expect to see a list of our volunteers on the bulletin board soon. Ben will keep the signs driving around the park and town for an amount of time he finds appropriate then he will pass them on to the next person on the list and so on.
Our volunteers only report suspicious activity to the police department if they see it. They do not confront anybody.. But the largest benefit this group is providing our community is raising the awareness of the people in and about Newport that there are several different cars and individuals that patrol the LVH neighborhood keeping it safe. Word will trickle down to the criminal element that it is not an easy place to burgle.
If you would like to help out by showing the signs on your car we would be happy to welcome you on board. Please contact Charles Burke.
