An email from Larry Henson.. Park Manager to the LVH Community

Good Morning Ron,
Could you please help get the word out to residents concerning - Bringing stuff to the Community Center to give away.
I appreciate the good hearted nature of residents wanting to help others by giving them an opportunity to get something for free.
However, LVH Management cannot allow residents to bring items from their homes to the Community Center for the purpose of potentially giving the item away to someone who might need it.
To start such a practice could cause the Community Center to become overcrowded with all manner of items.
Residents having items they no longer have a use for may want to take these items to either the Goodwill donation center at the former Big Guys Diner on hwy 101 across from Barbara's Blossom Shop, the Salvation Army Donation Center in the Newport City Center, the Thrift Store in Nye Beach, Centro De Aiyuda or other place.
If they so choose, residents may also place flyers listing items they have to give away on the bulletin board within the community center.
Many thanks to Longview Hills Residents for being so big hearted, your generosity is inspiring.
Larry Henson, CM/LA-LVHMHC
