California wildfire chases 30,000 from homes - Salt Lake Tribune: "LOS ANGELES - Santa Ana winds blowing at times at hurricane strength fanned two more monstrous wildfires on Saturday, destroying hundreds of homes and putting ten of thousands of people under a mandatory evacuation order.
The Los Angeles Times reported more than 30,000 were ordered to leave their homes."
