District 9 Veterans of Foreign Wars Posts and Auxiliaries will converge for a noon potluck and 1 p.m. meeting Saturday, April 22 at the Newport Senior Center. Department of Oregon Representatives will be State Commander Roger Ege and Department President Helen Kelly. District 9 Commander Harley Youngblood of Florence and District 9 President Yvonne Dennis of Newport will be in charge of the meetings. There will also be an election of district officers for 2006-2007.
