Adobe Wells

THE PARK WE ARE IN NOW....

rt
The park where my daughter now lives has 650 homes and a newsletter... I was reading it today and came on a message from the president of the Adobe Park Club...

"For the past several years, the board members of the Adobe Park Club have remained relatively stable. However, due to lack of participation by residents to get involved in events by either volunteering or chairing the activities sponsored by the Adobe Park Club have been non-existent. It is the recomendation of the Adobe Park Club Board that we disband the club effective January 1st, 2006 and donate the funds (approx. $1950) to the Red Cross Releif efforts."

Our little community with its 167 homes is very fortunate in deed to have such a lively and talented batch of voluteers. It struck me as odd that such a large facility as Adobe Wells would have such a small treasury. Our community is 4 times smaller and has a treasury 3 times larger. I tought I was going to learn something new to bring home to our folks and I did .... Bigger doesn't always mean better.
