CLOVERDALEWhen word of the crash came just after 6 a.m., Gus Peterson raced downtown to his wife's seashell shop, then right back home.
'He said, 'You have nothing left,' ' Lois Peterson recalls.
Moments later, she stood outside The Shell Game, the business she'd built from scratch over nearly 20 years. Three walls had collapsed, shattered glass covered the ground and, worst of all, her two cats were missing."
