NEWPORT -- The invitation called for everyone to come party in the park at Wilder, a new playground built from recycled plastic bottles.
Cool enough.
But it was what the invitation didn't say that was the real news. This was not just any old sustainably built playground, but the opening structure in what developers conceive as Newport's first "green" village.
