During the November 5th meeting of the Common Council for the City of Newport the following agenda item was discussed.
X. New Business.
A. Setting date for City Council public hearing on requested annexation/
rezone/withdrawal (File No. 4-AX-07/7-Z-07) for property
approximately 82.67 acres owned by MerchBanc, LLC involving Tax
Lot 300 and Tax Lot 106 of Assessor’s Map 10-11-29, and Tax Lot 1503
of Assessor’s Map 10-11-20 within the Newport Urban Growth
Boundary. The subject property is generally located to east of NE 52nd
Street, NE 53rd Street, and NE 70 Drive as well as to the north, east, and
south of Longview Hills development.
THE DATE SET BY THE COMMON COUNCIL FOR HOLDING THE PUBLIC HEARING MENTIONED ABOVE IS:
