Current Watches, Warnings and Advisories for Oregon Issued by the National Weather Service: "Special Weather Statement Central Oregon Coast (Oregon) SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PORTLAND OR 347 AM PDT SUN OCT 7 2007 ORZ001-002-WAZ021-072300- NORTH OREGON COAST-CENTRAL OREGON COAST-SOUTH WASHINGTON COAST- INCLUDING THE CITIES OF...ASTORIA...CANNON BEACH...TILLAMOOK... LINCOLN CITY...NEWPORT...FLORENCE...RAYMOND...LONG BEACH... CATHLAMET 347 AM PDT SUN OCT 7 2007 A PACIFIC STORM IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTH OFF THE COAST OF OREGON AND WASHINGTON AS IT STRENGTHENS TUESDAY. AT THIS TIME IT APPEARS THAT THE STORM WILL TRACK FAR ENOUGH OFFSHORE SO THAT THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL REMAIN OFFSHORE. SHOULD THE TRACK OF THIS STORM DEVIATE CLOSER TO THE COAST THAN CURRENTLY EXPECTED...IT IS POSSIBLE THAT HIGH WINDS WOULD REACH THE COASTAL AREAS OF SOUTH WASHINGTON AND NORTH OREGON. THE COASTAL HEADLANDS WOULD BE THE PRIMARY AREA FOR POTENTIAL WIND GUSTS AROUND 60 MPH TUESDAY."
