MILWAUKIE, ORE. --- It is small spark in a single project that one company hopes will lead to a bigger innovation.

That innovation is taking place near Milwaukie inside the massive factory floor at Oregon Iron Works. There, workers armed with welding torches piece together a prototype ocean buoy that may one day lead to new advancements in wave energy.

After looking towards the sun, rivers and even wind as a source for power, more companies are now turning to the ocean."
