I Get To Many Irons in the Fire :(
I've got myself into a jam by having to many activities going on so I'm forced to do a terrible job at all of them or spread them out a little. First on the "spread-out" list is the new walking club that was to start Monday at 9:00am. Did not do a good organizing or advertising job on this one so am putting off the walk until a week from Monday, May 28th . Anyone wanting to take leadership of this one is certainly welcome.
Next, the CERT team is anxious to meet with the Neighborhood Watch block captains at one of the CERT meeting days with coffee and donuts... Not a formal thing but a partners event where we can sit around and discuss new ways we can work together. Part social and part serious.. That was to start soon but I am moving that ahead to Wednesday, June 6th. Block Captains with questions that they would like considered ahead of time ... drop me an email. The current thinking is to include block captains in a CERT table top drill where they get involved on their radios making reports to CERT Communications (Liz Hill) in the format that gets Cert activated light years of the old way of doing things.
