If you think the only way to look for gold is by using a shovel and pan, you wouldn't be Vicky or John Schoonover.
The Junction City couple owns almost every type of gold prospecting equipment out there. They have a dredge to suck up creek beds through a hose and a highbanker that they use to shovel gravel onto creek banks. And of course, they have metal detectors and pans galore."
