CHARLES BURKE... from an email
Just a few lines to let you know that Charles was not operated on yesterday 11/06/06, he became very sick the night before his operation and now he is at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Eugene with double pneumonia. Charles had a high fever of 102.5,with chills and was very disoriented. Today he is in good spirits and is resting comfortably. He should be discharged on Sat if all goes well.
