The Home & Garden show doors opened today at 10AM and there is a lot to see and may give you some ideas. These photo's above are from the "Sweet Adelines Singing Group" that our resident Frida Burke belongs to. They have some beautiful flower arrangments for sale to help raise money for their San Franiciso trip. The Garden Show is March 3-5, 2006 at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds . The time are 10-6PM Fri, Sat and 10-4PM on Sunday. Enjoy!

Gov. Ted Kulongoski said Thursday he wants Oregon business leaders to help him shrink or end the $205 million corporate 'kicker' tax rebate this year and instead redirect the money to state coffers.

"JACK SCHERER ROASTING............"

There were 15 members at the Longview Hills Fishing Club breakfast this morning to roast outgoing president Jack Scherer. Enjoyment was had by all and everyone had a story to tell about Jack. So besides having a good breakfast, we even at a lot of good clean humor about Jack. Sorry for those who could not make this event in Jack's life and hope to see you at the next LVH's fishing club meeting on the 16th of March. After this meeting we will be taking a road trip. So anyone in LVH's that might like to become a member, just be at the meeting. You can see we are one family, that looks out and takes care of eachother. Ladies you are even welcomed! Thank you again Jack for all you did to get this Fishing Club going years back.
